CHI Academy Illinois nonpublic special education program will offer the following principles:

  • Cultivating Self-Awareness and Emotional Regulation: By incorporating mindfulness techniques into daily life, CHI Academy aims to help students develop essential skills for managing stress, enhancing focus, and building resilience, contributing to their overall well-being.

  • Addressing Local Educational Needs: There is a significant need for quality nonpublic special education programs in the South Suburban Chicagoland area, which CHI Academy seeks to meet.

  • Providing an Engaging Curriculum: The academy is committed to offering a robust and engaging curriculum that respects students' learning styles, cultural backgrounds, and interests, all while meeting their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

  • Enhancing Self-Efficacy: Through direct instruction, CHI Academy focuses on increasing students' self-efficacy, empowering them to make positive and informed choices.

  • Equipping Students for Success: The program is designed to equip students with the academic, social, and emotional strategies they need to achieve success both in their education and in their future endeavors.
